Due to a high number of inquiries and requests regarding the “Fast Tracking” Process for grassroots players (U8-U12) please note the following for information purposes:

The evaluation process is to be undertaken on individual players.

a.Under no circumstance should an entire team or group of players play up an age division.

b.The movement of an entire team,or a group of players, to play under an older age group classification, breaches Ontario Soccer Procedure 6 – Game Types:

“5.4.1 If a player is evaluated and approved to play with an older age group that player shall be registered in that age group.” 

c.The Club/Academy Technical Leadership should assess players over a period of time to ensure the criteria is met and is in the best interest of the player in question

d.The District Association has a role to sign-off on the forms being submitted by organizations.
