Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce the Mentee Coaches for the 2019 Female Coach Mentorship Program.

Seven female coaches were selected from across the province, to take part in this one-on-one coach development opportunity. Other applicants to the program will receive group instruction through workshops, practical instruction, and consistent performance feedback.

The Female Mentorship Program is designed to develop senior female coaches, who wish to further develop and progress their coaching careers. The mentorship program is part of a holistic, support system, approach to enabling promising coaches across the province to reach their full coaching potential in the sport.

Annually, Ontario Soccer seeks applications for Mentee Coaches. They must be working toward their National C or B Coaching Licenses. The seven coaches are selected based on their experience, potential, and the recommendations supporting their application. The selected applicants will be developed in the Ontario Soccer mentoring program under the guidance of the Ontario Soccer Coach Development team and the Female Head Mentor Coach, Connie Marshall.

Congratulations to Melanie Jimenez on being chosen to participate in Ontario's Female Mentorship Program. Melanie coaches two OPDL female teams at Waterloo Minor Soccer Club.
