SWRSA Hosted Coaching Clinics

The District has organized to hold one of each of the Community Coaching Certificate Courses available to coaches in our District.   

  • Soccer for Life- Feb 27th & 28th - FULL
  • Fundamentals- Sat, April 2nd, 2016 
  • Soccer for Life - Sat, April 16 & 23

New C License Course

The Ontario Soccer Association's Coaching Department is pleased to announce details of the new C License course that will replace the current Pre B Course. Licenses will be valid for 5 years.

SWRSA Office closed for Family Day

 The SWRSA Office will be closed Monday, February 15th, 2016 for Family Day.  We will re-open Tuesday morning at 9:00 am. 


Congratulations to the Waterloo United U18 Girls team!

Congratulations to the Waterloo United U18 Girls team on their 2nd place finish at the Indoor Ontario Cup this past weekend.  Waterloo lost a tight match to the 2015 National Champions, Bradford Eagles, by a score of 1-0.

OSA announces Technology Partnership

The Ontario Soccer Association announced today that it has selected Sport Ngin to provide its entire suite of sports management technology to the OSA’s districts, clubs, leagues, academies, tournaments, and over 450,000 participants.

Holiday Submission Deadline and Office Hours

As the holiday season approaches, we would like to remind our members that all Permit requests (ATFs, AHEGs, TRPs, etc.) and Registrations/Book Validations needed for dates up to and including January 4th, 2016, must be submitted by Friday, December 18th, 2015 to guarantee completion prior to the holiday break.

The SWRSA Office will be closed Thursday, December 24th until Friday, January 1st, 2016.  Emails and voicemail will be attended to on Tuesday, December 29th and Wednesday, December 30th. The office will reopen Monday, January 4th, 2016 at 9:00am.

Match Official Assessors

Assessors will be paid $60 per game assessed.

Game Report Submission Process

Electronic Game Sheet submissions will be permitted for the Outdoor 2015 season. To email game sheets and reports, please follow the directions below:

- League Name
- Game Number
- Referee's Name

B. Game Sheets and Reports

- Attached Scanned PDF's only !

Images of game sheets will NOT be accepted.

Please note there are Free Apps available to allow you complete this process from your phone.


Referees found to be officiating unsanctioned games will be charged accordingly under OSA discipline policy 4.58. For further details outlining risks of officiating unsanctioned games can be found on the South West Soccer Referees' Association in the article titled UNSANCTIONED GAMES.

SWRSA publishes the information of all parties required to attend regularly scheduled discipline hearings along with the rights of the accused. The primary method of notification is provided on this website. A courtesy letter / email will also be issued to the club and league where the infraction occurred for information purposes. 

As per OSA Policy 8.1.2 the accused may request the Misconduct Report(s) up to 30 minutes prior to their hearing.
