IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING DISCIPLINE BY REVIEW PROCESS (DBR)

Effective immediately, the following change has been made to the Discipline by Review Process:

After receiving a red card at a game, the accused has 4 days to contact Rick Noakes at the SWRSA office to request a hearing in writing except in cases of O.S.A. Misconduct Type 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6. Otherwise, the red card will be processed by Discipline by Review (DBR) and cannot be appealed. The Request for a Hearing form is posted on our website.

The request for a hearing must be accompanied with the Discipline Hearing Fee of $100.00 (cash, credit, debit or cheque). If found not guilty, the fee will be refunded.

The SWRSA Office will be closed on Monday 20th May 2013. The office will re-open on Tuesday 21st May at 8 a.m.

Shashti Maharaj receives the D.R.C. Award

Shashti Maharaj receives the D.R.C. Award from South-West Regional Soccer Association’s District Referee Coordinator, Douglas Docherty while attending the Women’s Referee Committee meeting on Tuesday night.

The D.R.C. Award is presented to those referees that have been particularly free with their time and efforts within the District, who have shown a willingness to help and to participate at all levels of the sport and that have made a tangible contribution to refereeing. The only criteria is that they’ve gone out of the way to contribute within the District.

The two other recipients for 2012 are Dieter Gassewitz and Laszlo Sarkany.

As of Monday April 15th 2013 the SWRSA Hours of Operation will be as follows:
Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
